History :
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is one of two dog breeds known as Welsh Corgis that originated in Pembrokeshire, Wale. These herding dogs are believed to be descended from Swedish Vallhund dogs that came to Wales with the Viking.

Health:
Pembroke Corgis, if not kept active or if overfed, can easily become obese, which is bad for thei elongated backs.
This coloring is associated with extremely light or blue eyes, liver or gray eye rims, nose and lip pigment.

Appearance and Size:
A Pembroke is between 10 and 13 inches.
and weighs no more than 15 kg.
dogs in peak condition weigh about 12 kg.
Too much white is considered a fault in show dogs.

Temperament:
The short legs may seem to be a disadvantage, but they can run and jump just as well as any other dog of comparable size. Though still sometimes used as a working Pembroke Corgis dog, today they are more commonly kept as companions .Like most terriers, they are stubborn and strong-willed, and love to dig after real or imagined prey. The judge shall dismiss from the ring any Pembroke Welsh Corgi that is excesively shyly .
